Prosperity

Joshua 1:8 tells us, “The Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
The Bible is the greatest book in the world concerning money management that leads to staggering prosperity. God’s children have been historically prosperous. Consider Abraham. The book of Genesis tells us that he was rich in cattle, silver and gold. Solomon was the richest man in the world. By today’s standards he would have been a trillionaire. His horse stables were made of gold. That is prosperity!
3 John 2 says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.”
Jesus gave us 38 parables; 16 deal with how to manage your possessions. There are 500 verses in the New Testament dealing with prayer, and less than 500 discussing faith. There are more than 2,000 verses telling us how to manage our possessions in order to produce prosperity in our lives.
Let me be very clear. You will either master your money, or your money will master you! The choice is yours.
So, let me ask you…would you like for God’s prosperity to explode in your life? Would you like for the windows of heaven to bless you with blessings that you cannot contain?
I’m going to give you some very basic Bible concepts about prosperity today, and I want you to listen to the sermon series, “God’s Plan for Your Prosperity.” It goes into detail on how you can prosper through God’s promises; but today I’m going to give you a brief outline to follow. Dig deeper into God’s Word. He delights in your prosperity! His promises ring true…every time.
You will never prosper until you believe that it’s God’s will for you to prosper. Deuteronomy 8:18 tells us, “And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.”
The difference between living a life of prosperity and a life of want is choice. Luke 6:38 says, “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
Your financial success tomorrow will be determined by your obedience to God’s Word today. If you plant a seed at 5:00 p.m. this afternoon, it will not be a stalk of corn by daylight tomorrow. Today you make the choice to honor God with your living and your giving so that He can open the windows of heaven and bless you.
Every time God gives you the opportunity to give, He is also giving you the opportunity to increase your income. Let go of what is in your hand, so that God can bless you with what He holds in His. What He has in store for you is far greater than what you could ever do on your own. He owns all the wealth in the world; and your income is determined by your obedience to His Word.
I want you to understand the principle of seed time and harvest. Everything God does on earth comes from this basic principle. Genesis 8:22 tells us, “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease.”
Consider the spiritual realm. How did Jesus come to earth? The answer is, seed time and harvest. The seed of the woman (Mary) shall crush the head of the serpent (Satan). The Holy Ghost planted the seed in Mary’s womb and the kingdom of Satan was defeated.
Consider the physical realm. How did you get here? Seed time and harvest. These two events were separated by nine months.
Consider the financial realm. When you plant your seed (tithe and offering), God not only meets your need, but rains down His blessing on every area of your life. He is the God of more than enough!
Give and it shall be given unto you. If something within you resents giving…it’s not of God. Giving is the only proof you have that the cancer of greed has not consumed you. The day is going to come when all you will have is what you have given to God.
Everything that God controls…GIVES!
The sun gives light. Clouds give rain. God gave his only Son that we might be redeemed. What are YOU giving HIM?
If you think that you are so far behind financially that you will never catch up…give. God is able to make it up to you by giving you more than enough! He can give back to you what the enemy has stolen. What you lost in your business failure, He can restore. Your only hope of catching up is planting your seed in the Kingdom of God, the only sure fire investment you will ever have.
Givers gain! When you give to God, the only thing that can happen is for you to gain on every level. Beloved, He wants to prosper you in all things. Are you willing to trust Him with the little that is in your hand, for the untold blessings in His?

Faith

Faith Is the Language of Heaven By Anne Durant We all have testimonies of different things we’ve gone through. There have been some tremendous tests! But as you probably know, tests come, basically, just to prove what you already know! In school, they didn’t just pop a test on you on the first day. They taught you first, and you learned things, and then a test was given. You didn’t learn by the test; you learned before the test. The test came to prove what you already knew. Praise God, you can be prepared for the test! No matter what test comes, you can be prepared to ace it! But some of us have some cramming to do. I was always a crammer in school. Every test I took, I crammed for it the night before. I’m not proud of this. I don’t recommend it, but that’s just the way I’ve always been. And when God called me into the ministry, I said, “God, why in the world would You call somebody like me?” And He said (some of you are going to like this), “I know that you’re a crammer....

Healing

Picture Yourself Healed By Kenneth W. Hagin If you need healing, find and meditate on a Bible passage that tells of someone receiving their healing. In other words, as you drive to work, go about your day, cook dinner—even as you begin to go to sleep at night, imagine that person’s  story. Picture the passage in your mind, reliving in your thoughts the experiences that person went through according to the Word. This will paint a picture of God the Healer at work. After you have a picture of that person receiving healing from God firmly painted in your heart and mind, begin to picture yourself receiving healing! Picture Jesus receiving stripes upon His back to obtain your healing. Imagine Him on the Cross, providing total well-being for you—body, soul, and spirit. Dwell on God’s healing power at work in your body, and see it affecting a healing and a cure in your particular situation.  Culled from rhema.org

Christian Growth and The Process of Maturity.

There are no short or simple answers to your question. Part of the solution lies in realizing that salvation isn’t a matter of instantaneous perfection. Instead, it’s a question of your  relationship  with God. Like all relationships, this one is a  process . It ebbs and flows. It includes periods of growth and advancement as well as times of discouragement and disaffection. That doesn’t mean that the Lord is inconsistent. It simply reflects our own inconstancy. We’re human, and our faith experiences many stops and starts. This relationship is more like a journey than anything else. It has its ups and downs and plenty of seemingly impossible uphill grades. But if Christ has set us upon the road, we can be sure that He will guide us to the final destination. Like Paul, we can be confident “that He who has begun a good work in [us] will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ” (Philippians 1:6). “Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass” (1 Thessalo...
